Dell Latitude 5490 | Core i5 | 8GB | 256GB SSD | 14 inch (Pre-Owned)

Dell Latitude 5490 in Saudi Arabia

The Dell Latitude 5490 is a 14 inch corporate workhorse, the model most Saudi offices bought by the pallet and the reason so many good used ones exist. This unit pairs an Intel Core i5-7300U with 8GB of DDR4 memory and a 256GB M.2 SSD, and it is sold as pre-owned Grade A stock.

What This Latitude 5490 Is Good For

• Office work all day. Two cores and four threads with 8GB of RAM handle Excel, Outlook, Teams and a wall of browser tabs at the same time.
• Growing with you. This is one of the few laptops on this shelf with two SODIMM slots, so memory can be taken to 32GB later instead of buying a new machine.
• Older office equipment. It still carries a VGA output alongside HDMI, which matters if the meeting room projector has not been replaced since 2015.
• Working away from a desk. The 5490 takes a 68Whr long life battery option, and it charges over USB-C.

Condition and What Is Included

This Latitude 5490 is graded pre-owned Grade A, a grade that describes cosmetic wear and nothing else. Keyboard, trackpad, ports, display, speakers and charging are checked before the unit is listed, and it ships with a charger. It runs Windows 10.

How the 5490 Compares With the Rest of the Latitude Range

The 5000 series is Dell's mainstream business line: heavier and cheaper than the 7000 series ultrabooks, better built and more repairable than a consumer laptop. If portability matters more than price, look at the Latitude 7280 or 7420. If you want the same shape with a newer processor, look at the Latitude 5310.
