Dell Chromebook 11 3189 x360 Touchscreen Pentium N5000 4GB 16GB Pre-Owned

Dell Chromebook 11 3189 in Saudi Arabia

The Dell Chromebook 11 3189 is a small touchscreen laptop built for classrooms, which is why it is one of the least expensive ways to put a working machine in a student's hands. It runs Chrome OS on a Pentium Silver N5000 with 4GB of memory and 16GB of storage, on an 11.6 inch HD touchscreen. Sold as pre-owned Grade A stock.

What This Chromebook Is Good For

• Online classes. Google Classroom, Google Meet, Docs and Sheets are what Chrome OS was designed around, and they run better here than Windows would on the same hardware.
• A touchscreen at a low price. Very few laptops at this end of the market have one, and for a young student tapping is often easier than a trackpad.
• Homework and research. The Pentium Silver N5000 reaches 2.70 GHz with 4MB of cache, which is enough for a browser with several tabs.
• A machine that starts instantly. Chrome OS boots in seconds and updates itself in the background.

Condition and What Is Included

This Dell Chromebook 11 3189 is graded pre-owned Grade A, a grade that describes cosmetic wear and nothing else. Keyboard, trackpad, ports, display, speakers and charging are checked before the unit is listed, and it ships with a charger. It runs Chrome OS.

What Chrome OS Can and Cannot Do

Be clear about this before ordering, because it is the one thing people get wrong. A Chromebook runs web applications and Android apps, not Windows software. Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail, YouTube, Zoom and Microsoft Office on the web all work. Installed Windows programs, including the desktop versions of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD, do not. For a student living in a browser this is an advantage; for anyone who needs Windows software, look at a used Windows laptop instead.
