Apple MacBook Air M1 2020 | 8GB | 256GB SSD (Pre-Owned)

Apple MacBook Air M1 in Saudi Arabia

The MacBook Air M1 is the machine that changed what a thin laptop could do. Apple's own M1 chip replaced Intel here, with an 8-core CPU split into four performance and four efficiency cores, 8GB of unified memory and a 256GB SSD, behind a 13.3 inch Retina display at 2560 x 1600. Sold as pre-owned Grade A stock.

What This MacBook Air M1 Is Good For

• Working in silence. There is no fan inside this machine at all. It is the quietest laptop we sell, and it never gets loud under load.
• A full day away from a socket. The M1 is the reason this model is known for battery life, because efficiency cores handle everything light.
• Colour work and video. A Retina display with P3 wide colour and True Tone, which is a far better panel than any Full HD laptop screen.
• Photo and video editing. The M1 handles Final Cut, Lightroom and Photoshop comfortably at this memory size.

Condition and What Is Included

This MacBook Air M1 is graded pre-owned Grade A, a grade that describes cosmetic wear and nothing else. Keyboard, trackpad, ports, display, speakers and charging are checked before the unit is listed, and it ships with a charger. It is an Apple silicon Mac, so it runs current macOS releases.

8GB of Unified Memory Is Not the Same as 8GB of RAM

This matters when comparing against a Windows laptop. On the M1, memory sits on the same package as the processor and is shared between the CPU and GPU, which makes it considerably faster to reach than the DDR4 in an Intel machine. In practice an 8GB M1 handles more open work than 8GB in an older laptop. It is still 8GB, so very heavy video projects will want more.
